people who become advertisers have no soul. its official. if i ever met an advertiser whose job it was to make commercials like this one, id have a very hard time not beating him/her up. but then i will come to the anarchist realization that it is not the people that need to be destroyed, but the silly institutions that put people to such use.

it doesnt look as if those institutions are going anywhere anytime soon. i often think the best solution is just to educate a dominant group of creative minds in psycology and advertisment and create commercials that dont preach or display any sort of non-human or complacency-promoting sentiments, such as the soliloquiy of the asshole in the video, which can be interchanged with any given greys anatomy segment. accutly defined visions of perfection, and vaguely definable pseudo-philosophic notions need to be done away with. they mentioned greys anatomy once on scrubs. cox says something about the vague sentiments and then going into the commercial jd walks by and says, in his head of course; and then we all knew that what doctor cox had said would forever change the way we saw what he said. although equally as vague and useless soliiloquys are issued througout that show as well...

capitalism makes this impossible. As long as those ads sell products better than less terrible ads, it will be the non-human complacency promoting ads that prevail. And that true no matter how well educated people are. The only way I could see it change, besides methods already mentioned, is For people to stop buying products that advertise in such a way

i dont remember what i wrote, but i think i was saying that the best solution i can see as of now is a group of people who are dedicated enough to getting that kind of crap out of advertising that they can somehow become creative enough to make commercials that sell without that sort of crap. im not sure what use it would be when its a commercial during some show thats promoting this crap either. maybe while the writers guild is on strike theyll all have a collective epiphany and start writing psycologically sound tv shows.
