There's two answers aparent to me; one being that the ideas will not be presented until the children choose to want to be presented with them - with the school format not clear to me now, I imagine it will be much more a a free choice and a college-ish environment where they can choose what they want to study at a certain age rather than go through 12 years of greuling gen-ed. The other option is to introduce the ideas as just that; ideas. Give modes of thought and the moods of the environments in which they thought; no doubt a 6 year old, or even a 16 year old will have the maturity of mind to understand the depths and relivances of many modern and ancient philosophers, but it is important that the idea and philosophic mindset is present in their schooling, because I believe it to be the best mindset in which to live a life: question everyting and accept nothing as truth until you yourself can see it proven or prove it (which will probably be never haha). This is why I'm probably going to have to get into psycology some cuz I', not exactly sure how childrens minds develope and that sort of thing and I'm gonna need the authority of having been taught that sort of thing to be able to write or act on it.

It is in hopes though that once the people are finished in this school; by I guess high school age, that they will be young adults capable of grasping the concepts of all of these philosophers and thinkers, not when they're children(anywhere from 8-17/8, depending on their mental development could be younger), the introduction of the philosophic mindset and examples of philosophic and ethical and political genius are then to be emphasized I think...Jasper Yatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03361411725325420424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3263529353660258683.post-62019701304820352822007-08-21T11:53:00.000-04:002007-08-21T11:53:00.000-04:00What age group are you talking about? To what extent is dumbing shit down going to be necessary? The Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16228419280217655558noreply@blogger.com
